Our staff are highly experienced and knowledgeable in all aspects of recycling and scrap metal dealing. We’ve answered some of our most commonly asked queries below to keep our customers informed.

If the materials are all recyclable, such as paper and cardboard, then we can collect it, or you can drop it off to our depot. However, we do not accept recyclables that are mixed in with regular waste.

No, our recycling depot only pays for non-ferrous steel, i.e stainless steel. This is because of ferrous steel’s low value-to-weight ratio, and it is much harder to recycle.

If you have an easily accessible outdoor area, you can stack your materials there. However, we can also provide bins and cages to make storage and sorting easier.

Yes, lids should be removed beforehand as they can cause a number of problems which slow down the recycling process.

Not necessarily, manufacturers have until December 2019 to ensure all their products in Queensland display the new refund mark. Until then many empty drink containers will not have one, but they may still be eligible. You can also look out for the SA or NT recycling markings.
